This product was designed to remove the hassle of removing the EtherCON shell, and just simply adapt the Tactical Ethernet Coupler to a shielded RJ45 connector. Other adapters on the market are too large or too expensive, this fits the bill!
With a size of less than 2 inches in length, and less than 1.5 inches in height and width, this is the perfect addition to your work box.
Mates with standard Neutrik EtherCON cables with CAT5, CAT5e and CAT6 ends on one side, and adapts to a shielded RJ45 connector for your CAT6, CAT5e or CAT5 cable on the other.
The external case is made of a plastic polymer that has both excellent rigidity and high impact strength.
Note: This does not connect with the specialized Neutrik NE8MC6-MO and Neutrik NKE6S* cable ends.
