About the XLR Splitter 3
Need to split a record feed to 3 different video recorders, or split out a Clear-Com to 3 different destinations, or just split your single line level XLR to 3 XLR’s? This is the perfect box for it!
The XLR Splitter 3 features a single XLR female input and three XLR male outputs. Neutrik A Series XLR connectors are utilized in this box allowing for the smallest size and highest packing density between XLR centers.
Additionally, this box is made out of a plastic polymer ensuring both a small and lightweight design with high impact strength and excellent rigidity.
The XLR Splitter 3 is perfect for the following applications:
- Splitting line level audio to 3 destinations
- Splitting 2-Wire Analog Partyline like Clear-Com or RTS to 3 destinations
- Splitting Digital Partyline (Clear-Com HelixNet Powerline) to 3 destinations
Because the XLR Splitter 3 is passive, it is transparent and has virtually no noticeable loss of signal strength for line level audio and com based applications.
Note: It is not recommended to split a microphone level as this will put a varied impedance load on the microphone and potentially change the sound quality of the microphone. Line level audio signals can be safely split up to 6 times without a noticeable loss of quality.
